We are family
A church congregation is a lot like a family. We're all different ages and stages here, and we all experience times in our lives when we need some help. Our Care Ministry is made up of volunteers from our church who have felt a special call to visit and care for people in our church who need an extra hand or an extra friend--permanently or temporarily. Here are some of the things we do together:
- Take Communion to our homebound members after a Communion Sunday.
- Write Birthday and Anniversary Cards to church members!
- Visit and pray with those who are homebound or in Assisted Living facilities.
- Organize meals and help for people in need: after surgery, during family crises, a death in the family, or after someone has had a new baby.
