Our Partnership with Metropolitan Ministries
For over 50 years, Metropolitan Ministries, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has served poor and homeless men, women, and children in the Tampa Bay region. The Ministries has gone from a single room food pantry, to one of America's most effective and innovative caregivers. Metropolitan Ministries expanded to the East Pasco area by combining with Restored Hope, a local Christian organization whose focus was also to assist financially struggling families. Metropolitan Ministries at Restored Hope’s mission is to care for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency. All as an expression of the ongoing ministry of Jesus Christ. Their programs are known for their compassion and innovation in helping struggling families and individuals achieve their highest potential for self-sufficiency. Currently, Metropolitan Ministries at Restored Hope is renovating their permanent building, and are operating at a temporary location in downtown Dade City, at 14108 5th Street.
