School-Church Partnership with Pasco Elementary School
Our church family is privileged to support the students, staff, and families at Pasco Elementary School. We have a team of volunteers that help in classrooms each week. We also recognize the hardworking teachers and staff by hosting luncheons and special appreciation gifts throughout the year. We are especially proud to support the school's Year of Books initiative, with the goal of gifting a book to each student once a month throughout the school year. We are so thankful for the opportunity to share a love of reading and the love of Jesus in our community!
UMCor Cleaning Kits
When tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods shake the lives of our neighbors, the United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) has supplies on-hand and are ready to distribute to those in need. Dade City FUMC is grateful for the network of United Methodists across the country. In addition to monetary donations, our congregation helps to assemble Cleaning Kits full of supplies that will help those in times of crisis to get back on their feet.
Residing HOpe
The Florida United Methodist Children's Home was established in 1908 to provide a home for orphans and other children that had nowhere else to live. Today it serves as a diverse ministry with two campuses including residential, therapeutic groups, foster, and emergency shelter care. On fifth Sunday months, our church collects a special offering dedicated for the Children's Home and the important mission it serves.
