COME TO CAMP WITH US THIS SUMMER!

Connected Kids and Prism Youth 
Week 1   June 16-21, 2025


We want your child to come for Summer Camp at Warren Willis United Methodist Camp and Conference Center!  
 
Summer camp is open to students that will be entering 4th grade (2025/26 school year) through high school.  It is a week-long, overnight camp in Fruitland Park, FL. You can visit Warren Willis' website to read up on the history of the camp and check out more about it.  If you aren't familiar with camp, please reach out to Holly Carter (children@dcfumc.church) or Mark Renner (youth@dcfumc.church) with any questions.
Camp is a special place and a great opportunity to spark lifelong faith formation moments for your child!

What do you need to do?

Registration for Summer 2025 is now open! You can register with Warren Willis Camp and Conference Center.  Once your child is registered, contact Ms. Holly or Mark so we can make sure everyone is accounted for in the process.  

Cost

When families register with Warren WIllis, they are encouraged to select the "Tier 2" tuition rate of $500. Continue reading for scholarship and other financial support opportunities. 

Camperships

Warren Willis offers scholarships directly through their Tier 1 Campership program. Any family seeking additional aid to attend camp can apply on their website. The deadline to apply is April 1. Click the link or hat icon for more information.

Fundraisers

To help families plan for the financial costs of camp, we will be holding a few fundraisers throughout the year. Families that participate in the fundraisers will earn credit toward camp tuition, up to a cap of $150 from the church per camper.

Earn $50 toward DCFUMC Scholarship per event participation:
January 25- Kumquat Festival Parking
May 7- Art Show Wednesday Fellowship Dinner (Connected Kids)

Young Worship Leaders Scholarships

Students who participate in church worship as service leaders are awarded additional funds. This includes acolytes, communion attendants, Praise Band, scripture readers, ushers, and more. Ask Mark and Ms. Holly how to get involved!
