Sip & gather
Coffee Hour is a ministry of hospitality that encourages fellowship and conversation while enjoying coffee and snacks beginning at 8:30am on Sundays prior to the 9am service. It provides an opportunity for folks to gather around and share their week with old friends, make new friends and to welcome newcomers. The refreshments are served by a rotating group of volunteers, of whom there are currently 6, who get to church early their given Sunday to prepare coffee and provide store bought or homemade simple snacks. Shortly after service that volunteer cleans up as well. Coffee, creamer, sweeteners and paper goods are supplied. As the ministry grows, a reimbursement budget may be necessary. Both the coffee station area and the church kitchen are well organized and user friendly making quick training for volunteers.
